Amanda Young

Amanda is the Chief Sustainability Officer at abrdn. She has had a long career in financial services, leading the Responsible Investment activities at Standard Life Investments, as well as responsible investment positions at Newton Investment Management and CCLA, the specialist church and charity fund manager.

Amanda currently leads one of the work streams in the UK government’s task force on creating a culture of social impact investment. From 2017-2022 inclusive, Amanda has featured in the Financial News 'Top 100 Women in Finance'. She also won the inaugural Sustainable & ESG Investment Woman of the Year at the 2021 Investment Week's Women in Investment Awards.
